1. I was running AF at 0X

2. Borrowed n 8800 GTS 320M card from the brother in law and will try that. Will let all know how it works.

Let me know how the 8800 works for you, I have the exact same card and can only get about 10-15 frames out of it.

I do have mine working in single player and have made it about 1/2 way through. Multiplayer for me is still a lost cause on this box.

Crap. Doesnt sound good for me in my current state. Probably will upgrade later this year. Hopefully this game has more legs than some of the others in the recent past.

Managed to get the game to run smooth with the 8800 GTS installed with not one hitch. Sa-Weet.

Will let you know on a frame rate. How do I check in BF2 anyways for frame rate?

Did you get that from one of the .ini files or somewhere else. I would love to look and see what mine is doing.

I ran FRAPS and while in game hit F11. This will log for 11 seconds to record the values I listed.

You can find the log file in your main drive folder under FRAPS folder. You will find a notes file called Fraps log.

There will also be a folder called "Benchmark" which will provide individual stats in excel and as well a total for your 11 seconds.
